And by world I do mean one organic one, like this holy planet Earth. Alio Die's "Standing in a Place", 2015-2016, strips down naked its attributes to portray a peaceful entanglement of very fine threads weaving inch by inch a personal and universal attractive mirror world or even better your own, if lucky.
Back to nature, without self induced hazards, in sheer ecstasy of appreciation without any kind of organic or artificial aid, but the reinterpretation of the flow of time with its sonic counterpart in the hands of a highly trained disciple.
Progressive Electronics is not exactly what you will find here, electronically recorded and processed acoustic elements , if that is an issue, but thank the Gods, it is found in this PA's electronic world.
I can repeat myself, as I have done in most of my Alio Die's reviews, but then again to cut it short, Alio Die's own musical idiom can not be compared to no one's else vocabulary, therefore for those already aquainted with his music, this release as expected rates an easy 4.5 rating. For those new comers do not miss if you like to take a dive in a world where time stands still according to your own perception of the same, in a highly rich, creative and breathable place very much in tune to your own earthly floor and blood, wherever you happen to be, beyond all that and below!
